You see, my father, and his father before him, devoted their lives to making the finest chocolate and related products for the most famous of confectioners. Over the years, I worked with the finest dairies, bakers and pastry makers to create new natural confections and ice creams. In 1994, Cook’s Illustrated judged our Van Leer Chocolate ‘best dark chocolate and cocoa powder in the world.’
When it came time to take charge of this legacy, I decided to dive deeper yet into chocolate by acquiring boutique J. Emanuel Chocolatier. We create delectable, good-for-you confections from scratch and deliver them directly into the mouths of chocolate-lovers like you. We feel strongly about giving back to our community. Now that’s satisfying.
