We are delighted that you are ordering J. Emanuel Chocolates. We normally ship within 48 hours of your order Monday through Wednesday. Since our chocolates are delicious but perishable, we take special care to make sure they arrive in perfect condition and do not want them sitting in a warehouse or truck over a weekend. Should you need items expedited please call and we will do our best.
We normally ship via UPS ground, packing each box with insulation to prevent freezing or gel ice to prevent melting. If for any reason we can't ship within 48 hours of your order, we will contact you.
If you call us for a special or custom order, the delivery time may be longer. We will let you know at the time we discuss the order what to expect.
J. Emanuel chocolates need a certain amount of care to taste their freshest and look their best. We suggest that upon delivery; let your chocolates acclimate to room temperature for 24 hours before opening. Avoid extreme temperature changes and keep out of direct sunlight. Chocolates absorb odors: do not store them near food or perfume. Air-conditioning is fine, but do not refrigerate. The ideal temperature for chocolate is 66-68 degrees.
